Euless Area Homes For Sale
Halfway between Fort Worth and Dallas lies the town of Euless, population 51,277 (based on 2010 census results) which was established on 16.3 square miles. The town is named for Elisha Adam Euless, a prominent member of the community back in 1867. The Dallas Fort Worth international Airport takes up a portion of the city.
Euless was established within the boundaries of Tarrant County and is often called “tree city USA”. Although it is part of the mid-cities between Dallas and Fort Worth, Euless is considered a suburb of Fort Worth. The majority of houses in the area were constructed between 1980 and 1999 (41.9 percent) while 33.8 percent were constructed between the years 1960 and 1979.
Single-family homes within the midrange of the most popular here in Euless with 29.8 percent featuring 1000 to 1400 square feet and 27 percent constructed between 1400 and 1800 square feet. Slightly larger homes of 1800 to 2400 square feet come in at third place with 22.4 percent of the homes built. Prospective homebuyers looking for larger floor plans will find them between 2430 600 square feet (12.5 percent). Larger homes constitute 1.9 percent and homes of 1000 square feet or less makeup six percent of the houses in the area.
Condominiums make up 2.6 percent of the real estate inventory in Euless; these are usually located in the downtown area. Homeowners make up 43.8 percent of the local population with 56.2 percent renting the place of residence. Home values went up six percent over the last year and the prediction seems to hold steady with a 2.4 percent growth rate for the coming 12 months.
